A preschool morning

The preschool morning is 8:30 am to 11:30 am. It moves through arrival and welcome, free play, faith-based learning and language games, a theme activity, snack, stories, and outside play.

Arrival and play

Families arrive at 8:30. The morning opens with free play and a small-group craft.

Learning together

Faith-based learning and language games, a theme activity, snack, then stories, books, and rhymes.

Outside, then home

A closing circle, outdoor play and exploration, and dismissal at 11:30.

More than academics

The early years are a time for children to develop the skills and attitudes they need for kindergarten and beyond. We want to help children become confident learners, caring friends, and problem-solvers. Children must be 2.5 to 5 years old and potty trained before starting.

Jesus said, “Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

Matthew 19:14
Social
Learning to cooperate, communicate, share, take turns, and build friendships.
Emotional
Recognizing and expressing feelings, developing self-regulation, building confidence, and learning how to respond to challenges.
Intellectual
Developing curiosity, growing in language, and learning problem-solving and thinking skills.
Physical
Developing fine and gross motor skills, and healthy physical habits.
Spiritual
Learning about God’s love and experiencing a community that reflects Christian values.

Learning through nature

Through outdoor play and exploration, children develop curiosity, confidence, problem-solving skills, and a deeper appreciation for God’s creation.

Ready for kindergarten

Kindergarten readiness is about more than letters and numbers. Play and everyday experiences help children feel confident and successful in kindergarten.

Rooted in faith

Every child is a unique creation of God. Children learn Bible stories and songs, pray together before meals, and learn about the beauty of God’s creation. There is no screen time.

For families

  • The first class, starting January 2027, is limited to 12 children. Fees are $250 a month.
  • Children bring a healthy snack and a water bottle. The preschool is peanut-free and nut-free.
